Singer, song-writer, producer
A good entertainer is conscious of his image – a good man is conscious of his roots.
Urban Desi performer The PropheC writes and sings his own songs in Punjabi, and his influences range from classic singers like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan to new popular artists like Justin Timberlake and A.R. Rahman.
But while he pays tribute to these artists, his music is still very much his own. Since the debut of his first single “Sohni”, The PropheC has been playing gigs regularly throughout his hometown of Calgary and Western Canada, such as the Vancouver International Bhangra Competition.
But it doesn't stop there, as this passionate performer has caught the attention of fans and radio stations as far as India, France and the U.K.
International exposure hasn't gone to his head however – The PropheC is still Neal Chatha at home. He still eats with his family, respects the tenets of his culture and produces music in his basement.
From humble beginnings to a fantastic future, a strong soul grows in the home. Much anticipated album, The Lifestyle will be hitting waves shortly whereas his singles Taur, Chal Mere Naal & Lost are creating a big buzz already.
